I know the wait has been annoying for the past 3 years, even this summer we expected more than a cover art w screenshots and pre orders. But man, August arrives tomorrow and the earnings call is less than a week away. I do believe we all expected a longer marketing span, but Strauss spoiled this scenario some time back when he implied that GTA 6 will have a shorter marketing period. I believe they waited to show new footage so that it's the closest in quality to the final product.
